December Bright Moon Salon Guest: Kayley Erlandson
Friends, we are so fortunate to have Kayley joining us as the honored guest at the Bright Moon Salon at the Arthouse on Monday, December 5th from 6-8pm. She is an energy worker and evidential medium and is going to guide us in connecting to our ancestors this time of year.
Per Kayley, we can connect with our ancestors year-round, but the Winter Solstice (December 21st) is always thought of as a time when “the veil is thin” and our ancestors in spirit are nearby — both in our hearts and our minds — as the weather cools and the holiday season approaches.
Your relationship with a passed loved one doesn’t have to end with the death of the physical body. Your relationship can continue in another form. You do not need to be spiritually trained as a medium in order to connect with and honor your ancestors. You can invite them into your mind and heart for the holiday season. Kayley will lead us through practical ways and rituals to prepare to connect with (and make space and time) for your loved ones in spirit during this magical time of year.
You do not need to bring anything, but if you would like to bring a special item or a story that you feel connects you to a particular ancestor and want to incorporate the item in a ritual of some type this Winter Solstice, please feel free to bring it to share!
You could bring or share:
An item you inherited from an ancestor or loved one
A photo of them
A story about them, such as a favorite memory or a place that was important to the two of you and your relationship.
Something else that immediately comes to mind for you!
Kayley Erlandson (she/they) is a trauma-informed energy worker and evidential medium who is the owner of Two Bluebirds, where she weaves her skills in spirit communication and energy work into a beautiful tapestry unique to every person who walks through her door.
Her work with others knits together many aspects of spiritual exploration, including ancestral connection, working with trauma stored in the body, helping clients tune in and understand and “speak to” the energy in their own body, researching and understanding the history of certain traditions and practices in spirituality before incorporating them into your personal practice, demystifying energy work and mediumship, space clearing and protection.
