Bright Moon Salon June Guest: Cady Rutter
Cady’s focus for June 1st: Creative Conduits
From inception to execution, creative expression forges a path. Sometimes, the path is rather direct: an individual conceptualizes and brings art into being. Sometimes, the path is non-linear. It requires supports and conduits—collaborators, interpreters, catalysts, other artists—to expand and convey that expression into the world. Oftentimes, we create via our connection.
Cady will share about her work of holding space for and collaborating with authors and artists to convey new ideas and projects into our community; she’ll challenge us to think expansively about our myriad forms of artistry and how they can find new expression in partnerships.
What to bring? Bring an idea or project that you’re seeking refinement, collaboration, or a missing component for. If you just had “x,” then how could “y” come to life?
Contribution: I’m so grateful that the Arthouse, a glowing example of a creative conduit, is here supporting new partnerships and ideas sprouted from our unique talents. Please help me support this good work with a freewill donation to support future programming. (either venmo @workerby or cash at the event)
Thursday June 1st, 6-8pm at the Arthouse Gallery- 517 6th Street South in Moorhead, MN
