Attitude of gratitude
I have worked with some incredible people in my career. I have watched us all push ourselves, succeed and thrive, and even burn out now and then. This last year, things have felt like we are all creatively moving as a murmuration of birds, even as we have been isolated.
So as I have been working on unfolding my new branding and creative work, it has felt solitary at times. We are all working differently. Fortunately, the depth of my connections has allowed for some very meaningful work. It is what has made this possible. If I had to actually do this all on my own, it would never have happened.
I would like to thank my partner Eric for being so supportive, always. Karis for the river walks. Meg of Due West Design for the website coaching. Pegboard for the gorgeous creative direction, photos, and rebranding. (direct shout-outs to Melanie, Lauren, Nicole, and Fatima)
This site and my work will continue to unfold. I will continue to work slowly and thoughtfully to make sure what I am building is aligned to my creative dreams.
I welcome you to take some time to slow down this week if you can, and pay attention to those who help lighten your load. Do they need reciprocation? How can we recognize that if we are tired and weary, it is likely that our community is as well. And if we have some extra energy, how can we help our community?
