Heart of the Dark Moon

From the desk of Ms. Anna Lee

Late last summer, I began Dark Moon Sparks with the intention of creating an accountability group for folks who were looking for something that felt more aligned and expansive than mindlessly chasing goals. So many of us have shifted our priorities over the last four years, and the ol’ workaholic tendencies and “crushing it” just aren’t cutting it anymore.

We have been taking a different approach to motivation, with an eye towards self awareness blended with following the natural cycles of the moon, astrology, and the seasons. Not every month involves intention setting at the new moon- some months were meant for resting and dreaming. Many participants had remarkable results in letting things rest at the right timing.

As we look to the New Moon in Aquarius this Friday, we think about the collective. How much more is possible when we team up and are looking out for each other? What collaborations are we percolating on? Are there causes we are on fire for and want to commit to?

This week is a great time to assess where we want to put our energy for ourselves and the greater good over the next six months.

If you would like to join the discussions this week and catch up with everyone on where they are at with their creative endeavors, please join us either Tuesday at 630pm central time at the Arthouse or Wednesday at 2pm central on zoom.
