A love of art and design

Sometimes I am surprised at how long it takes to get to where we have been going all along. They say life is what happens when one is making other plans, and I figure a multi-passionate career is what happens when you’re chasing all of your interests. One day, we realize that instead of running to and fro, we have actually established an impressive body of work. Now how to piece it all together?

I have spent the majority of my creative career not being able to call myself an artist. I was just so many things that i felt like i might not actually be anything other than a hopeful creative. Anyone else? We spend all of this time trying to “find” ourselves and to “fix” ourselves, when we were actually just building out our palette with a gorgeous array of magnificent colors.

I’ve loved what I have loved forever, to create. And now I am giving myself permission to use the whole box of paints.
