Our August Bright Moon Honored Guest: Mantha Myhre

Hello, my friends. I hope that you are in the midst of an eventful-yet-manageable August and that the New Moon was kind and enlightening to you this week. It has been a formidable week at the Arthouse and with my family at home as we navigate the loss of our dear cat, Rosie. Nature brings all kinds of cycles, and if we have the luxury to breathe through the difficult parts of it, can be so bittersweet and moving.

Part of what inspires me the most is the inhale and exhale of the cycles of nature, creativity, and life. I am so excited for our upcoming Bright Moon on Monday August 28th, as our guest Mantha Myhre is so beautifully attuned to these cycles and will inspire you to find your own rhythm in an act of co-creativity and collaboration with nature.

August’s bright moon will feature an intro to kombucha demonstration with Mantha Myhre. In addition to the demo itself, each participant will receive a bottle of kombucha to take home with them as well as a printed out recipe guide & optional SCOBY (AKA mother) for making their own booch brews at home.

Mantha is a self-taught fermentation enthusiast who finds inspiration within experimentation, seasonal abundance, & commUnity connection. As a multi-faceted crEATor, she has intentfully curated countless combinations of kombucha flavors & vegetable ferments over the last 13 years to share with those around her. It brings her fulfillment to help nourish her community with food medicine rooted in the intention of collective well-being.

This symbiotic relationship is an honor for her to be a part of & she looks forward to sharing her experience at the art house with emphasis on ancestral wisdom, intuitive direction, & the sacredness of everyday nuance. 

This event takes place at the Arthouse from 6-8pm on Monday August 28th. Your financial contribution goes towards materials, artist fee, and operational expenses at the Arthouse.
