Your Intuition Communicates in Unique ways

While I am a believer that we all have our “gut instinct” or a sixth sense that helps us stay alive and out of harm’s way, there is a deeper intuition in each of us that helps us find our way on our individual path.

In Human Design, we have what is called our “authority”, which is the unique way that our intuition communicates with us, guides us, and leads us to make aligned decisions for ourselves.

There are seven different types of these authorities. Do you know which one is yours? (you can run your chart for free on my site, if you have not already)

When we understand the unique ways that our intuition speaks to us, it gives us the opportunity to listen with greater depth, to learn to trust ourselves, and to allow for others to have their own unique type as well.

Emotional- if you have a defined Solar Plexus/emotional center, you have Emotional Authority. This requires that you give yourself time to process the waves of emotions of how you feel about something. You will not know the truth in the moment, but will know the truth over time when you arrive at a point of emotional clarity and neutrality. This knowledge has given many the opportunity to ask for a bit more time to process the complex depths of how they feel about something, if it is the right choice for them, or if their initial excitement is overridden by another layer of their emotional processing.

Sacral- if your Solar Plexus is undefined, and your Sacral center is defined, you have Sacral Authority. This is a binary, in-the-moment way of processing. You are either drawn to something or you are not. If you are in a position of feeling overwhelmed or confused, try asking yourself yes/no or two-option questions. The one you feel the pull towards is the direction to go, or the one that feels repellant is the one to avoid.

Splenic- If you have a defined Spleen Center and a undefined Sacral and Solar Plexus, you have Splenic Authority, which is the oldest, most instinctual form of intuition we have. You get an instant hit of intuition and it is important to know that this can change from moment to moment as things evolve.

Ego- When a Projector or Manifestor have an undefined Solar Plexus, Sacral, and Spleen, but a defined Heart/Ego Center, they will need to get clear on their deepest desires, and align to goals and actions that help them achieve that which they are deeply drawn to from the core of their being.

Self Projected- This one is for the Projectors that have only their Throat and G Centers defined and connected- you find your truth by hearing yourself talk it out loud. This is my authority, and I am eternally grateful to those who have been there for me as a traditionally “verbal processor”.

Environ(Mental)- Mental Projectors have a defined Head and Ajna center, and it may be tempting to assume that they need to “think it out”. But it is more aligned to self-projected authority in that it is about finding a supportive environment in order to talk out the options and in a sense get out of one’s head.

Lunar- At 1% of the population, this is the authority of those with the Reflector aura type. They do not have any defined energy centers, and need to experience a full 28 day lunar cycle in order to process the influences that may impact them in their decision making process.
