Peeling the onion of self
For a number of reasons, this winter has been a wild ride. I am used to being able to slow down during January and February, and am usually delighted that others are doing the same.
And yet, so many of us have been sitting on beautiful, wild ideas of things we want to make happen, and the momentum is finally building. So why would we slow down?
We are in remarkable times, where we ache with the weight of the world, and still have hope for the ways in which we can contribute to the solutions. We are more aware than ever of what is happening, yet can feel cut off from ourselves.
It is so important to find a balance of rest and action, to make the most of our creative flow, especially when we are driven from our hearts and values.
This Wednesday afternoon in the Group Creative Guidance Sessions, we are delving into the concepts of public-personal-private selves. It is about boundaries, but it is also about intentions. We are each wired differently, and bringing awareness to the uniqueness within allows for us to get more clear on how we can be a part of the collective from a personal, intuitive place.
We are asking ourselves the questions:
How do we show up?
How do we want to be seen?
How do we connect and share?
Who and what impacts us?
If you are interested in joining us, the online session runs from 2-330pm central, and the Arthouse session runs from 430-6pm central. If you are unable to make either time, these are questions that we are certainly going to be spending more time with and we welcome you to join us in a future session.
Wednesday afternoons not ideal for you? Be in touch, as I may look to setting up additional group sessions in the future.
