New Year, More of You
I don’t know about you, but I am not a fan of the “new year, new me” mentality. Not only is winter (for those of us in the northern hemisphere) a time of slowing down and hibernation, but the notion that we need to be regularly reinventing or improving ourselves is not very helpful at all.
What HAS helped is aligning to the cycles of nature, including the moon at the core. There are patterns within patterns that cycle and refresh over time, each one building upon each other. Indigenous cultures around the world have known this for ages, and it is surprising the themes and patterns we can weave together between the knowledge that remains. I have personally been finding a good deal of grounding in seeking out more ancient and aligned sources of Celtic knowledge based on my maternal lineage, and will begin participation in a beekeeping apprenticeship rooted in matriarchal wisdom this month.
What I aim to do with my work is to help folks like yourself find wholeness in the self, deconstruct the myth of creativity as something out of reach or only for a special few, and deepen the understanding that personal evolution and change are an act of creativity that requires connection and support.
We all benefit from deepening our understanding and acceptance of ourselves, so we can show up wholeheartedly in our lives, connected to something greater than ourselves. This can be community, friends, family, our art, greater calling, or practice of any kind. We achieve this on our own, together.
Much love and respect,
xoxoMsAnnaLee
PS Read on for opportunities to learn and grow together! (One-on-one sessions always available.)
We have one more session of the current Dark Moon Sparks series before a bit of a schedule shift.
Dark Moon Sparks is a monthly accountability + creativity group for a new kind of motivation. Nestled in the week before the New Moon, we meet to renew our commitments to our creative work and deepen our understanding of self and community.
Sessions are offered both in-person at the Arthouse on Tuesday evenings and will be online via Zoom on Wednesday afternoons starting in February, with a private network on Hylo to stay in touch through the month.
Packages are available, which allows for six sessions for the price of five.
We have a couple of spots this evening (January 2nd) at the Arthouse, as well as Thursday (January 4th) at 2pm online via zoom.
Looking to get a lil sneak peak into your Human Design chart/bodygraph in a small group no-pressure setting?
Join us Wednesday, January 10th for a NEW Group Creative Guidance Session with a Human Design emphasis, which gives you a chance to learn about others' charts as well. You will get a 5-10 minute personal perspective on your chart, which is a lovely way to begin your inquiry into this fascinating tool of personal discovery.
This event will take place on Zoom and is limited to six participants.
Be sure to download your free copy of your Human Design Chart if you have not already.
The next round of Group Creative Guidance begins Wednesday, January 17th.
Group Creative Guidance is a six-session workshop series for artists, healers, and entrepreneurs by Ms. Anna Lee of Workerby. Each session is rooted in the work done in Creative Guidance Sessions: Human Design, the chakras and nature systems, with intuitive guidance provided.
There is always a general structure to the classes, but they also evolve to be responsive to the participants. We are currently navigating the concepts of relativity of time, and developing schedules that work for each of ourselves based on our Human Design and inherent circadian rhythms.
Sessions are currently every other week on Wednesdays, with the online session meeting on zoom from 2:00-3:30pm, and the Arthouse session meeting in person from 4:30-6:00pm.
Packages are available, which allows for six sessions for the price of five.
